Who can participate in Yukthi CTF?
Yukthi CTF is open to all cybersecurity enthusiasts, students, and professionals. Participants can form teams of up to 4 members.
Is there a registration fee?
No, participation in Yukthi CTF is completely free.
What is the format of the competition?
The competition has two rounds: Online Prelims (24 hours) followed by Offline Finals at Saveetha Engineering College for the top 25 teams.
What categories of challenges will be included?
Challenges span multiple categories including Web Exploitation, Cryptography, Reverse Engineering, Forensics, Binary Exploitation (PWN), OSINT, and Miscellaneous.
Do I need prior CTF experience?
While prior experience is helpful, beginners are welcome! We include challenges of varying difficulty levels.
What tools/software do I need?
A computer with internet access, a Linux environment (VM or native), and common security tools like Burp Suite, Wireshark, and Python.
Can I participate solo?
Yes, you can register as a solo participant or form a team of up to 4 members.
How are winners determined?
Teams are ranked by total points scored. In case of a tie, the team that reached the score first wins.
Will there be prizes?
Yes! The prize pool is worth ₹1,50,000 with ₹75,000 for 1st place, ₹50,000 for 2nd, and ₹25,000 for 3rd.
